I just got back from the AQS show in Des Moines, Iowa. (The above is a picture of my booth at the show.) I really had a good time and as usual made lots of new friends. If you have never been there, make plans to attend next year as it really is a great show. I didn't take too many pictures but wanted to share one of my favorites. Me and Eleanor Burns. Eleanor is always so full of fun and energy. (I want to be like her when I grow up.) Thanks to Nancy from Winfield, Iowa for all her help.

I ain't no bag lady !!!
Here is my Amy Butler "Birdie Sling" bag I just finished for the San Diego quilt show. I had some "Flutteryby" fabric left from last year and decided if I make something up with it, it would sell. Well, I sold out of the kits. I used the pellon fusible fleece in the entire bag instead of what the pattern called for and I like how it turned out. Have you made this bag? Any tips you might have? As I said, I ain't no bag lady and need all the help I can get!
